Multimedia System for Support of Languages Education

This project is about electronic learning (e-learning). The first part of this document explains the meaning of the term e-learning, where it is used and what advantages and disadvantages has this type of learning compared to the other methods of learning. The user gets familiar with tools that create the electronic lesson and how to design the lesson. In the second part there are described different techniques and tools to create application interface, to display 3D graphic and to play audio records in different operating systems. In this part, there are described tools in more detail for the operating system Microsoft Windows. The goal of this project is to design and to realize the multimedia system for language education. With the use of 3D graphic and audio records the educational system was created with sophisticated appearance and comfortable control.

The submission of this thesis was preceded by a specialised studio „Brněnské nábřeží a kulturní čtvrť Ponava“. This work focused on a complex urban architectural solution to the area around the former “Jaselská kasárna”, the urban context, transport services, the field configuration etc. The thesis follows this project in a section defined by streets U Červeného mlýna, Staňkova and Střední. The goal of the thesis lies in the creation of an intensive goal – a cultural area, which will offer a high-quality space for intergenerational communication and new social experiences and activities. It newly connects the urban part Ponava with the town center of Brno by a high-quality axis for pedestrian and cycling transport. The project of this cultural area arose after a thorough analysis of surrounding, intercity and global relations as a combination of aims: for children – the elementary art school with graphic and dancing fields, for seniors – leisure time center, and for all together - a multifunctional concert hall and a revitalized area of the former industrial zone of furniture production to a multipurpose intergenerational area with a modern art gallery, offices for young businessmen, architects and artists, and a music club in the basement of the gallery.

High-Quality Visualization of Petri Nets for Publishing Purposes

This work is trying to solve the problem of graphical visualization of Petri nets in text publications. The aim of the thesis is to create a tool that will simplify generating of Petri nets and at the same time provide a more aesthetic graphical output than existing tools do. A simplex algorithm was used for automatic network layout. The program has both graphical interface and text mode and can cooperate well with existing tools for working with Petri nets, which the text also mentions. The program is able to load a pnml file and produce a usable image in png, pdf, and svg formats.

Cloud Solution for 3D Models Processing

This thesis deals with the possibilities of processing 3D models in cloud applications. A C++ library called Cloud3D has been designed and implemented. The resulting library is used to quickly create client-server applications. The library is divided into three separate parts: Client, Service Provider and Load Balancer. The service provider runs in the cloud and provides 3D model processing services to client applications. The biggest advantage of Cloud3D is the ease of creating new applications with its help. Other benefits include scalability, assured implementation of look-a-side Load Balancer, and security ensured by the use of SSL certification.

The effect of narration and graphic notation method in learning piano works.

In piano instruction, new methods and strategies are intended to improve performance and accelerate up the learning process. The observation that there are some challenges in learning an instrument, given the polyphonic structure of the piano instrument, the simultaneous vocalization of both hands, and the reading of two different keys, is what led to the development of these approaches and methodologies. The aim of the thesis investigates the effect of graphic and narrative methods on students while learning piano works. In this study, rather than perceiving music auditorily, the questions of how we can transfer it to students in order to provide multiple perception with a visual and story-based study are investigated. Graphic art of spanish artist Francisco de Goya\\"Another his foolery in the same arena"

The bachelor´s thesis entitled Graphic Art of a Spanish Artist Francisco de Goya "Another His Foolery in the Same Arena" is divided into two parts, The oretical and practical. Theoretical part describes the life of a Spanish artist with an emphasis on the historical context and then it documents fragments of his work. Further, the thesis is focused on Goya´s graphic work and then it introduces his graphic cycle which is inspired by bullfighting. The thesis describes the graphic technique used by Goya himself. The practical part is based on knowledge of chemical graphic techniques which were introduced in the theoretical parts. The aim of the practical part is to create graphic sheets, inspired by "La Tauromaguia" (the art of bullfighthing).

Graphics from the height and the depth - Vaclav Hollar - personality of Czech Graphic

This bachelor thesis has two parts - the theoretical part focuses on the personality of Václav Hollar, his life, work and also abroad work. It also devotes itself to graphic gravure printing techniques with respect to a dry needle, and as a counterpart to the printing techniques from a height - linocut. The practical part is an example of using the knowledge about graphic techniques in practice. This section contains four cycles of author's drawings on plant motifs using classical and experimental techniques in gravure printing and linocut. The basic material for the matrix is titanium zinc and linoleum. The choice of techniques is based on the study for the theoretical part of the thesis. Two matrices are the default, which are further elaborated. The preparatory-drawing documentation and the original prints are presented in a total of fourteen.

Folk text and graphic

The dissertation "The Folk Text and Graphic Art" studies a song as a topic for graphic and book production. Within the praktical part of the dissertation the author works up a graphic design of a original song-book, which represent his former music band's texts. He surveys the clash of today's fashionable music trends with folk traditions in his region and asks a question about the character of the contemporary folk song. The author's song-book is one of answers. On the base of this effort he also presents two didactic graphic sets. First it is a project "Collection of Folk Songs" for pupils of primary schools. Personal and family representation of Zacharias of Hradec in the Telc Chateau.

The castle in Telc is one of the few buildings in the Czech republic whose interiors from the second half of the 16th century have been preserved almost unaltered. Owner dominion Zacharias of Hradec had the castle enlarged and its interiors splendidly decorated. The decorations reflect the personal taste of the castle lord. The early designs were taken from a production of Nurnberg workshops. Later the Dutch influence prevailed. The inspiration by the Dutch engravers Cornelis Cort, Frans Huys and Swiss Rudolf Wyssenbach can be traced. Later, but not less important source of inspiration, is book Imagines gentis austriacae by the Italian painter and draughtsman Francesco Terzio. Various crypto-portraits, mainly in the Rooms that were opened to the public, may be attributed to personal representation as well. Another very specific form of representation are the bears who support the coat of arms of the castle lord and his first wife Kateřina of Wallenstain. The bears point out to a legend, according to which the castle lord's family descends from house Ursini, an ancient Italian family. The imperial chamber served for family representation as well. The chamber is decorated with portraits medallions of the roman kings and queens and several unidentifiable portraits. Although I was not able to prove...
